Hello Folks,

New to the Forum, looking to meet a few bronco owners in MI,hope to generate a little motivation to finish my project that I started years ago. Can't bear to part with it. Don't have too far to go. Of course since it has been sitting so long I will need to go over a few things again for sure. I will definetly need a few parts. We are lucky enough to have the grave yard near by. If any of you have a few spare parts I wouldn't mind hearing from you. Don't need much but may be able help you get a couple things out of your garage.

Hey, I am up in Detroit for the summer/early fall... if you ever need an extra set of hands, I have every day off but work nights. I can't claim to be as big as a Bronc Guru as some of the others on this board, but I am a decent wrench and have all the time in the world... PM me if you need some help during the days. Welcome aboard!

No mine isn't buried in the weeds but has taken up my garage for the last 15 years+ We have never parked our cars in the garage in the last two houses we've had. Everything ceased once I we decided to have kids... Boy did I go ahead and screw up priorities

BUT... as far as the weeds...I too would also like to get a hold of the one buried in the weeds. Every time I see a deer blind I'll scury over to check out the area ;)

I guess I am on track I have already contacted and will be going to check out Broncolove's rides once he tells me when it is OK to come on down.

Thanks for the offer of helping, Who knows I may take you up on it ;)

I am really looking forward to finally using this truck!

Add me to your list of MI bronco owners - definately know the priority dilema. Mine sat on my driveway for 15+ years before I could get it to a point I enjoyed driving it......

Welcome aboard!!!

OK...

Pulled it out today, added battery removed air cleaner dumped in a little gas in carb and whala started right up... Starting to get a few pieces welded to mount seats tomorrow. Next... fix windshield, (seen post on the site, NEW from web order $96 dollars-pick up locally, not bad) then weld and fasten rollbar and drive down to have some one look at the transmission.

If I get these few items taken care off I think I will stay on track.

Looking forward to meeting you guys.

Hey Ed, What type of cage are you installing? I'll help you with the install if you need help. I am still to get my cage and install it...

I live in Michigan, Southwest area. Some of the best motivation comes from others rubbing it in your face, So I'll attach a pic of myself enjoying some fall wheeling in the West Branch area. Enjoy!

I was going to ask you guys if you could toss up a few photos... I need to decide on what type of bumpers to use... (eventually) I made some homemade bumpers 10 years ago...(heavy duty) but not sure if I want to use them any more.

rollcage-I have a family roll cage which again was purchased many years ago
http://www.kentrolinc.com/
custom tubular

I went back to see what my set up costs now... together. $545.56

Bronco Front Bar Kit 2" O.D. x .120" Wall Tubing and Rear Family Bar 2" O.D.

I am all set with the cage it will be easy.
I have it welded already, I just need to weld the bottom plates (hopefully this weekend!)

Edgar once you decide if you need anything welded. (I have a friend that has a nice portable setup does it on the side good price)

I am getting excited! more pics please!
nice!

Thanks,

OH... I also have the kit that ties it to the frame. After i get it on the road I will finish that portion. add another $200.

Pretty nice setup huh?

Glad I bought it back them nowadays I find it tough to spend the cash on my truck. Kids tend to suck up my wallet.

If I remember right there is a member named Yooper67 or something like that who lives near Munising or so. Do a members search you might find him. RB
