I wish I would had seen this sooner but those of you who have never been off-roading but would like to get some of the basics to be safe should consider this class http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=111148&d=1381341219 , This is 4WD training class put on by Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association. It is a great day and covers things like winching and recovery tools. Please consider taking this class so you can get out and use the great trails and 4WD parks we have available.
