• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I'm no expert but it all depends on what you want (i.e. a beater trail rig, daily driver, show truck, etc). I'd buy one that you can enjoy now and work on it as you get the cash and time.

Just looking for a daily driver -like to tinker with it and have it for a long time. Small tinker projects are great, I'm not ready for a complete rebuild.

My best advice would be to continue to save..... As you save your budget will grow and the work required to fix one will be less... Keep an eye out for the classifieds here. Chris (bajafresh) advertised a nice 73 a few weeks ago that would have been a nice tinker toy priced at around 7k.... Patience is a virtue... Trust me. I speak from experience.

Deferring to the pros again -looks like this one has a good foundation with a lot of sunk costs. Just need to the man hours to put it together. It's a little past my budget but looks to me that you get a lot for your money.

Would love some opinions from the experts.

I'm no expert but I agree that it looks like you have a lot of the foundation work done on this one. Seller appears to have invested in making this a nice finished product but got derailed when plans changed. Still has a lot of body & paint left to do which is where you can blow your budget out of the water.
Does this truck drive as-is?

Agree with bigpitbulls advice to be patient. Your budget shouldn't get smaller by waiting and you'll be glad you did when you find the right one.
My advice from personal experience is not to buy sight unseen unless you have someone waiting to do the work for you and an extremely flexible (read large) budget.

Pretty good looking rig, he has a lot in it... If it is the direction you are going I would say have a look at it and go for it, it isn't like he is all finished with it and painted it purple and asking 25k and you want it red and have to dump another 10k in to a new paint job.
But I would check it out...
