I have searched but could not find what I was looking for. Can this part be purchased new or do I need to source it from another carburetor? It was connected to the choke housing. The plastic piece is broken. It worked the choke flap.

I had goggled motorcraft and saw the videos. That is why I decided to rebuild it myself. It looked simple enough.

How would you get the metal cam off the shaft to replace the plastic piece? It looks as though it is braded on there.

Fixed. I ground the brad and replaced the plastic piece. I then drilled and tapped the shaft to accept a screw. It worked out great. A big thanks to Mike's carburetor for the advice.
