All I have a bounder rv that I will be using to tow the bronco around. While I was wiring the rv for the brake controller I found this mess. Any ideas as to what it is or was ?

I did not receive any alarm remotes with the purchase. There is no alarm horn that I have found. The wires appear to have some form of antenna, red wire wrapped in the clear tubing. There was also an led that never lights as well.

I was thinking lojak, but this does not appear to have the smarts for it nor did I believe that lojak had any led indicator.

Ok, I'm no tech guy but Ive seen that before. My Dad and Uncle just purchased an 80Ft Volvo Diesel RV/Garage/auto hauler. This thing has every gadget you could want from Satelite, hot tub, hydraulic lift, High speed computer, dyno, I mean everything. I was amazed at the electronics and remember seeing a few of those TRIAD box's when I was looking at everything. I just called my Dad to see if he would know. He thinks it has to do with either the phone system or computer. The phone system runs through the stereo somehow and through the satelite, so does the computer. Dont ask me why, I have no clue, I guess so they can make international calls? The way he explained it is like an electronic language decoder. Makes things compatable. He's not sure without seeing an actual picture and hell man, I really dont have a clue, I just know I saw those box's and thought maybe I could help. Its bugging me now like a song I can hear in my head but cant remember the words so I hope someone knows.

not to worry if it is the flux capacitor, 88mph aint going to happen in this thing.

The radio does not have any phone thing nor computer, really puzzling as it appears to be wired into the ignition.

This stuff or harnes was located in the steering column for the RV. No connections to the radio. I will leave it as a former alarm system that is no longer there. Just seems odd as there is only two small connectors that go no where. Looks to me like it is some form of ignition interupt for an alarm.
