Looking for anyone in this area that has a lot of experience with the EB 44. I’ve been looking for one for years. One popped up on Craigslist the other day and I drove 5 hrs to get it. But by the time I arrived it was good and dark. This morning looking it over, and well it might be to far gone to use. Didn’t look so bad under the flashlight. I’d love to get someone’s opinion on this before I even tear it down. I’m mostly worried where the radius arms attach. I knocked some chunks of rust off those. I can probably post pictures but idk if you will be able to tell. It’s in my pickup and can drive to you if that’s more convenient.

It does look pretty rough. Depends on how it looks after blasting but may be some issues or not. Is it the best no, would it probably work yeh. Depends on what you want to do with it.

The one I have is not perfect. Some rust on the inner knuckles. I can take some pics later. I have semi blasted it already. I am looking at around $150 for it.

I would wire wheel or blast all the rust off those areas before making the decision. They are probably usable but it'd have to be clean metal to figure out how misshaped they have become.

No show truck. But I have kids. This is my main concern, plus killing someone else on the road would not be great. And ok I’ll tear it down and take it to a sand blaster.
