I can tune a carb and mechanical dizzy without much thought but I upgraded my dizzy to a programable electronic setup and I feel lost.

Engine Specs-

347 Stroker
Compression ratio 10.2-1
4.030 bore
3.4 stroke
gt40p heads
RPM Air Gap intake
Truck avenger 670
1.5" shorty headers
ZF tranny

Cam Specs-

Comp Cams 31-216-2

1200-5200 operating range
duration at 050 : 212/212
advertised duration : 260/260
lift 0.447/0.447
separation 110

Distributor - Mallory E-Fire programmable

Initial timing as set at 12* and the engine fires right up, idles, and throttles great on the basic e-fire curve. However, I want to get the most out of this combo and I'm thinking I'll need to adjust the curve for better low end. Any thoughts on when total timing should be in or any experience with similar? I'm planning on a 5500 rev limit.

Thanks

A

Well you should have charts that tell you what different curves are. I'd try to use one that gets all the timing in by 3000 RPM. It can be hard to tell you what curve will be best for you as each engine is different and your driving style may also dictate something different.
