I'm finally gathering pieces for my Cummins 4BTA swap. The donor engine came with a ford bell housing and a external slave cylinder (sweet!). Of course it's junk, so I'm looking at circle track suppliers for their master/slave cyl. combinations. I figure no more plastic components and lines that can only be purchased at the "stealership". The question is this: I have read that the bore on both cylinders should be matched? But what size bore is sufficient? How much stroke do I need at each end? Are they suppose to be 1:1 or is it a ratio? Any of you hydraulic technicians feel free to chime in/ recommend web links for further research.

Sorry guys...didn't realize I posted this in "chat" instead of "tech". I'll post it there.
