I am restoring a 1967 Bronco which is in need of a lot of sheet metal replacement. I have ordered everything form TBP. But in the mean time I am getting everything ready for the new metal. My plan is to remove the body and have it media blasted and then return it to the frame. to do the sheet metal work. (to keep thing true. Then remove it and put it on a cart for final prep and paint. Does the hard top need to stay on the body while doing the metal work??

I am replacing all floorpans, rockers, kick panels and everything but the inner fenders, grill support on the engine bay.

Thanks
Dave

You can leave it on,I left mine on while I did all my sheetmetal replacement, plus I welded a temporary brace in the door openings for added support. If you didn't use anything for support the tub would bend at the rockers when you cut everything out, good luck
