Started putting in my new firewall insulation today. That thing is a pain in the ass! I think it'll look good after I'm done, but right now me and the insulation are not friends.

Hahahah... that was me a few weeks ago. It was a total pain in the ass, but when finished, actually looks pretty good. Don't mind the fact that I had to re drill pretty much every opening, and I think the only edge of it I didn't trim significantly was the top edge. I have to take it back out one more time because it is bunching up on the E Brake side and is not sitting flat behind the pedals.

Others have switched from the stock style plastic inserts to nuts and bolts with fender washers. I might do that for the "final" install.

If I can't get the plastic retainers to hold it properly I'm going to switch to nuts and bolts.
I'm hoping to re-install my dash today. I removed it about 2 weeks ago to install a painless wiring harness.
I'm also installing a new heater box, heater hoses, new heater valve, tuffy glovebox, defrost ducts, and some auto meter gauges that I bought back in 2016.
