New hood or old

Put new metal all through my Bronco and is ready for paint and reassembling I bought a new hood without the holes, but I have the original hood go original or not. Also Putting in AC !

Have you tried the new hood fitment? They have a tendency to be a bit bowed up on passenger side. If original is in great condition, front lip especially, I would use it. The openings allow some cooler air flow through engine bay.

So key is to do a good pre fit to see if the gaps are what you want. Also, if you use the new one, drill holes for windshield wiper nozzles before paint.

Thanks for the tip. Yes, the hoods in good shape. I just needed a little nod to go that way.
