Howdy all. Just thought I would let everyone know about a new product we now have available and in stock, Bestop 2 Piece doors. We have these in Black and White. Jon, feel free to make this an official New Product Sticky if you wish. You can see them here: http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/01.asp#2piece

Bestop Two Piece Soft Doors

Now in stock at WH. The wait is over, Bestop 2 piece doors are here. With the all new Bestop Bronco door you get a half door for those hot summer rides and if it gets chilly just install the upper portion in seconds. The features built into these doors come from the over 50 years experience of Bestop. We instantly noticed the doors upper and lower adjustability, this is so you can dial in the fit to your particular Bronco. The skins are sewn to sturdy steel frames. The design of the lower portion gives you a built in map pocket and includes flush mount latches. The upper portion features a full size zip down window with a retaining snap. Previous installation of fiberglass inserts will be necessary. Fiberglass inserts sold separately.

Are these the same as the Kramer Products doors? Is Bestop now producing them for you?
Im just wondering because I purchased the Kramer doors from you right in the middle of when you were getting and testing them from Kramer. Either way the doors a great.
By the way, is there any kinda of weatherstripping or seal to go behind the door on the inserts so its sealed when closed? I know its not much a gap anyway but a seal would be great.

No they are not the same.

The doors are a Bestop product that has been in the works for YEARS ;D It was a joke here that as soon as we commited to the Kramer doors we knew Bestop would finaly get theirs done.

Glad you are happy with the Kramers. We are making an effort to keep that product going as well. We have very limited stock on hand which is why you won't see them on our site.

The Bestop doors include some weatherstripping. Stick on. We don't see how it could last very long right in the place that gets stepped on all the time. It's very generic type that could be found at most auto parts stores. You can e-mail sales@wildhorses4x4 and we could find you some if you like.
Thanks for asking!

Are the Kramer doors made with sunbrella material?

Yes it is Sunbrella, looks like the Can Back material. We only have a few sets of the Kramer left. If you call in for the Kramer doors ask for Donnie, he handles all the Kramer doors. Thanks for asking.

Those look nice! I like the way they line up with ths stock body lines. The other style half-doors always looked funny to me with the downward slant to the door handle in them. They looked like J**p doors made to fit an early Bronco. The paddle handles look much better too.

do the doors require a soft top? i have door inserts, but plan to just run a bikini top with a roll cage.

No top required at all, just inserts.
