How do you attach it with no access to the inside flange to run the screws into the top of tunnel and bottom of dash?

I recently made a custom faceplate for a customer using his original cubby and ran into this issue when we first considered mounting the custom face from the inside. I soon realized if I installed the face first, I could not longer install the cubby.

Here are a couple pics during fabrication and installed after black wrinkle powder coat.

The faceplate has a sleeve to mount the CB and "junk pocket" to hold a wallet, cell phone, etc. It also has a couple switched and a dual USB charge port.

The expectation is the person using the cubby will cut their own hole, like what you did or something else that then allows easy access to the mounting areas. It is possible with a good amount of patience to mount it top side to the dash without cutting a hole also. People were wanting to DYI on the hole part. This gives everyone an easy platform to start from. Thanks for the question and nice work!
