You guys are welcome to join us out in Ocotillo Wells. There'll be about 10 rigs from So Cal Broncos and a bunch of others (extended family and friends) camped off Split Mtn Road. Details are in the So Cal Broncos postings or just let me know and I'll fill you in.

You guys in So Cal are missing all the fun here in CO. You only have to get out of the garage to do some "snow wheelin". The best part is when something breaks you're not too far from home.

Dusty, Where are you guys going to be camping off of Split Mtn road, I would like to stop by and introduce myself. I am going to O'wells and will be camping off Split Mtn rd as well kinda near the powerstation. I am not sure if am bringing the bronco though, the group I am going w/ all rides dirtbikes, quads and buggies so its too bumpy there in the bronco so I usually don't bring it though I did last new yrs. to cruise around at night and go to the Iron Door. It was funny, last year some guy ended up scaring the hell out my friend's wife by crawling up to the bronco and licking her toes (she had sandals on) and she does not like people touching her feet plus I was trying to fix the fuel pump switch that she just broke off.

Are you nuts! It will be bone-ass freezing out in OCW this time of year!

Check out the Borrego Springs 7 day forecast. 12/31 70 high and 41 low. Not quite freezing.

Here's a map to where we camp:
http://www.dustyland.net/broncos/maps/owmap.pdf

The GPS coordinates on the map are good. Hope to see you out there, we'll be there from Thursday PM to Monday AM, with about 10 other EB's and a dozen or so other rigs. Lots of dirt bikes in our group too, plus sand cars, pre-runners, Rhinos, etc.
