No rear seat....common?

My '74 U15 was ordered from the factory without a rear seat option.
I haven't seen many that didn't have one, other than 1/2 cabs. Anybody elses original purchasers opt out of the back seat?

My '71 had the cargo barrier (bulkhead with no holes) and no back seat. There are no mounting holes in the floor.

No holes no seat. My rule of thumb. I have a 71 U15 with a bulkhead and no back seat.

Couple bags of traction sand worked well enough for a seat, when i was a kid.

I have regular seats, and no bulkhead. Good to see that I'm not the only one.
