Hacket, Longwater, Metberry Meeting

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know this is short notice, but a meeting will be held this Thursday, July 28th at 9:00 a.m. at the Teller County Courthouse in Cripple Creek (address is 112 N. A Street). This is a county commissioner meeting and one of the agenda items will be to discuss Teller County adopting the easements from the Forest Service to allow the trails to be open. See the link http://www.co.teller.co.us/Commissioners/commissi.htm for more info.

This agenda item is schedule between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Please try to attend this meeting, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEPING THE GULCHES OPEN!!!! There will most likely be environmental groups there to oppose this action. We as offroaders need to be there in big numbers to show Teller County our support.

If you can't make is please call the Teller County Commissioners and let them know that you want to keep open, Hacket, Longwater, Metberry and Manchester Creek. We need everyone's support on this. So please make a call if you can't make it. The phone number is 719-689-2988. You can also fax them a letter at 719-686-7900 attn: Sheryl Decker. She will make sure the letters are read into the record at the meeting.
