Using this seal from JBG behind my front yoke.

I've got it oriented with the flat side of the seal facing away from the Tcase body and the cupped side towards it. After the seal I put on the yoke fitting and tighten down the nut as far as I can get it to go, however I can not get it to stop leaking around the cupped edges where the seal edge meets the Tcase body (metal on metal). I'm wondering if there is supposed to be some type of gasket that interfaces between the cupped edge and the Tcase body.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I put a light coating of Flange sealant on the flange before I put the seal in
