About a month ago i began rewiring my 69 bronco. During the teardown i really didnt think much of it when i pulled the reverse switch socket from my np435 transmission, though now it seems to be an issue. The previous owner didnt seem to know much about how to properly connect it and used the wrong plug to connect it. On top of doing the wiring in the worst way possible he just taped it into place. Now that ive got the right plug for it im starting to wonder if its polarity specific for how the socket needs to be set up. Or does it not matter what wire goes where so long as its plugged in? The painless book mentioned the original switch being non polarity specific but nothing about the tranny i have in it right now. Any information is appreciated
