OR OEM door lock knob

I've got a problem that's driving me nuts. Twice now I have ordered new door lock knobs (one pair from Tom's and another from Dennis Carpenter) and they just don't fit correctly. The reproductions are oversize and bind in the door hole when the knob is only half way down. My original knobs don't do that. I currently have one in new condition and one with the chrome worn off. I need one OEM knob in like new condtion. Help <sigh>!!
