Found some old Ford 16" steel wheels. It looks like they are ~5" wide and currently have tubes in them. Am I able to use tubeless tires with these wheels or will they most likely leak? Looking to put these onto a LUBR. Thanks.
They probably don't have the small ridge to hold the beads on. If so, they may hold air but I would never air them down off road or you will lose a bead. They are also probably riveted but they make tubeless riveted wheels that hold air.
yep they will work just fine, 235/85/16 on my Ranger in pic below, there are a few others that are running that size also on stock 16". I do wish those wheels were 6" wide but its ok, they will work great on a uncut

These are not the wheels you are thinking. These are the 50's ford pickup 16" wheels that had a snap on (inside) dog dish cap. These are not the 16" steelies that were available on the bronco '66-'73. The centers on many of them will not clear the front hub. The back spacing on these are a little different also. I think these have even more back space..
