I believe the original dash was painted Parchment in non Ranger/Explorer Broncos.

Anybody have the paint code for the dash color?

Ditzler 22780 with Satin finish.

Very cool. Local shop can do that for me.

Thanks for the info.

So, I go to the local Automotive Paint Supplier today and they tell me the Ditzler / PPG code 22780 for Parchment has expired.

Does anyone have another code for Light parchment? Cross reference? I want to paint the original Dash and metal Door Panels the correct color.

Thanks

The dash is Wimbledon white. If you have no joy finding a number that works with that link below, I still have a can of Wimbledon white with the numbers on it from Sherwin Williams auto paint store. Will look tonight at my number.

Try here for codes...

I believe the top is Wimbleton White, the dash would be an off white color, parchment. I had my dash redone this year and the paint shop did a perfect match of the color. The computer got it right in my case, though I know a few people have had varying results with matching. It is a satin finish and they used a hardener in the paint so no touch up to share. Let me see if I can get the formula.

The Wimbledon White code "M' is easy to find for the Original Body Color, Hard Top or Grill Center.

Parchment is the Original Color for the Dash and Basic Medal Door Panels. I found a Ford 67-68 interior spray in Light Parchment. Ill give that a try.

Oops. I am remembering now that I liked the Wimbledon white color better for the dash and door panels, so opted to go non traditional for those.

I "chose" Wimbledon white for my dash. After it does Look cleaner than parchment to me but I would consider a satin finish as opposed to gloss.

Here is a picture of the two colors.

This is an Original Parchment Metal Door Panel. Yes, the Parchment is dirty but you can easily tell the difference with the fresh Wimbledon White painted on the top of the panel. The Parchment also has a Satin sheen.

I'll go with the Wimbledon White is the Parchment cannot be found.
