I picked up an incomplete original warn winch bumper and I wanted to see if anyone had any diagrams or pics of how exactly it mounts to the frame. I believe it is missing the bottom plate that the winch is supposed to sit on and the brackets that secure it to the frame. I found this old thread and I think LandShark actually posted the exact pics I'm looking for but they appear as questions marks now.

Thanks in advance

The popular/common Warn Winches of the day (the 8274 style) did not mount to the bottom of the bumper, their mounting was to the front plate around the fairlead.

I have the original Warn paperwork that shows all the mounting details, but I'll have to dig it up. These are pictures of it mounted with the optional Warn Winch guard. All this Warn equipment was mounted in 1977.

Like previously stated, the complete assembly mounts to the winch plate, which is a large 90 degree stamped steel plate that the winch sits in. The bumper plates, the stone guards and the fairlead all mount to the plate.

Here's a picture of mine. On mine, the bumper is all one piece and slides right on to the frame bolting on... It has the the older Warn 5687 8K winch that was dealership installed on the Bronco I bought it from, with in the cab controls (I added a remote from harbor freight and creative wiring lol). . Only things I added were the lights and D rings. If you need more pictures of specific areas lei me know bro

Thanks everyone. If anyone has one of these bumpers that is not installed and/or doesn't have a winch mounted, can you post some some pics of the back showing the mounting brackets?
