painting fiberglass

will a regular primer for steel be ok on
fiberglass???
going with door inserts and want to match up my paint
but don't want to do it twice.

It depends on what primer you are using. You should get a spec sheet with paint when you buy it. At least PPG gives you one, it tells you what is compatable and what isn't.
