Their new seats are much nicer than their older ones.

Since you have "Ideas" in the title also, have you considered adding mustang headrests to your stock seats?

Thanks House, hadn't thought of that, understand the stock to be not the most comfortable but that's a consideration as well.

And thanks BG, comfort, quality, color all good?

My son and I used headrests from a 69 mercury cougar which should be the same as the mustang headrests. Best part is they bolt right up and look stock.

What buck68 said, the stock parchment seats with mid-seventies Ford headrest work extremely well. And the colors need not match if you are creative. Here is a picture of the wife's '76 with black headrests on parchment seats. She has a black and white theme going on the interior and it works well. Also they don't look like white elephants sticking up in the interior. I was all against the idea, but she was right on the money. Don't tell her I said so.

Can the front passenger seat still fold all the way forward with the headrests?

I put my headrests in before TBP had parchment seats available. I like the TBP seats. I got a parchment TBP fold/tumble rear on clearance and it matches very well.

Thought about the fronts, as I'd like the reclining option too, but with the price plus shipping on parchment TBP seats, it's not in my range now. So, I'll just keep the stock with headrests.

Mine won't fold all the way forward due to the front cage bars. But that's ok as the 'younger' ones go in the back anyway;D

As others have pointed out they are an easy addition; and I by no means am good with upholstery stuff.

You can also put the 80's mustang halo headrests on. If that is what you like. I put them on my stock seats and they look good. (pics to follow later;)

Where are y’all finding headrests and hardware? I’ve only found a $600 TMI mustang kit so far.
