Passenger Seat Brackets

I am trying to install a aftermarket seat on the passenger side but it looks like the brackets that are original don't seem to be level. is that normal? the bracket behind the shifter is lower than the one by the door.

I am still trying to figure out how to use those two brackets and install some type of angle iron bracket on top so that the flat slides of my new seat can fit but even if I do that it look like it will be leaning toward middle

Anyone have some pictures of how they put in aftermarket seats. I bought some Jegs brand ones

Your passenger floor board has obviously been patched at least twice. Considering the obvious lap weld on the left and flat panel on top of the holes on the right, I wouldn't trust the patches were done anywhere close to OEM specs.

Yes it has been done but when I put the level on it it's about 3/4 different but I guess floor could be bent and the extra layers. I guess I could put some spacers under the short side

Does everyone just bolt down the aftermarket seats to the floorboard on driver side

the factory brackets are not level because the factory seat frame is not level. it was all originally adapted from mustang drivers side seats which are built angled to their floor boards. so the bronco brackets allow for that angle. for new seats you should start from scratch or allow for the angle differences.

forgot Drivers side on most broncos have a gas tank very close to the floor board so drilling down remove the gas tank or you will drill through it. Many people have drilled the tank just putting floor side molding trim on.

I was hoping to use the existing holes in the drivers floor and just use a quarter inch metal strip down to allow me to add my own holes for the seat

Should I make the driver side brackets level front to back or should I slope it down in the back

I find the rebuilt stock Bronco seats very comfortable and can sit and ride in them all day without issue. Now my 2016 Toyota Tacoma seats are the most horrible seats I have ever drove in after 2 hours my hips hurt like someone stabbing a knife in my hip. they are a few degrees down in the back about 1/3 of the angle of the Bronco seats and they do not support my thigh behind the knee which is horrible. you sit on them not in them.

2 pictures sideways and one right side up. what position were they when you took them? did you rotate the phone for 2 of them and not rotate the third one? install looks good. high bolstered seats need a good grab handle to get in and out of them so you can get your butt up over the side bolsters.

my understanding when you rotate the pictures on the phone they get lost on some phones. I was told to open them up on a computer and save them again in the position you want them and they will be planted in the right direction. I personally don't know this as fact as I always post from my computer so I have not personally had these issues.
