Has anyone out there done a passenger side drop atlas with a chevy D60? The Chevy D60's are so much cheaper than Fords. I was thinking about changing to some sort of 4-link with coil-overs anyway, so what does everyone think?

Low pinion...I've thought about it but for serious flex you're shooting yourself in the foot unless you have a 203/205 doubler or something that stretches out your drivetrain a bit to give you more front driveshaft to play with. That said, I'm sure somebody has done it.

ewwww chebby.... i havent really noticed much price difference, at least in my area. i just sold a D60 from my last rock crawling project to a guy for $1000. i just bought a 78/79 D60 for my EB for $900. and my best friend picked up a chevy D60 for $1000

low pinion is a serious set back... but can be dealt with.
