Like the title says, looking for pics of Broncos with hard tops but running inserts and/or soft doors. Thanks!

Here are a few of Dan Georges (GoFast) from a few years ago. You might even recognize the area where one of them was taken. It looks a bit different now but the terrain around it is still the same.

Two hard top Half Cabs....

So far I know I like the look of the halfcabs with inserts, I ran those on my rig till I put my cage in. Just trying to gauge the look of a hard top with soft doors. I do want to eventually make a set of 2 piece fiberglass doors to go inside the inserts for a more finished look.

I am contemplating getting the bestop 2 piece doors in parchment from WH but not sure about the parchment going with a bright white that I will have on the hard top and flares. Wish they came in a bright white too.

I belive his name was Jed and he goes by the name of "campgroundguy" on the board. It certainly looked to be stock to me.....

Bringing this one back to the top. How do you guys like it with the hardtop and softdoors? Think it looks like a great setup. Desert Thrasher, you hit the highway, don't ya? How do you like it?
Looks like most are running Galen's old doors. Do you think the new Bestop ones would fit about the same?

Mine is the orange one in EOTH's post. The doors are the Galen 2-peice doors and they are the design basis for the Bestop doors - they fit the same. The Bestop ones do have some improvements like bigger hinges, better latch connection on the insert, and straps to tie-up the windows when rolled down.

I like them a lot. They work fine with a hard top but will never seal as well as a stock door. I don't mind this since mine is mainly a trail rig. I do drive some in the winter and have driven it over 200 miles in the snow for MEB's Snow Run. My back is open and I have a homemade windjammer on the roll bar that does a reasonable job of keeping the heat in. The doors do suck out at the top at higher speeds (~60 mph and higher). When it's really cold, the worst air leak is at the lower back part of the insert - a constant cold blast will hit your thigh. After your thigh is numb you won't even notice it! ;D

Yeah, they do pull out a bit when going down the highway, probably around 50mph and up. And Id imagine the new Bestops would fit about the same as Galens doors. I like them, but my rig is mainly a trail rig too. If it was more for street Id rather go with a stock type door. Best would be a snoop door with a soft upper window piece.

It's a stock color. I think it was only a 77 color and was only a Sprot Decor package color. I had a 77 that was the same green M&M color with the stripe kit.

You have to love the 70's......DISCO, BABY!!!!!
