I have an opportunity for a good deal on either a set of Pitbull rockers or Nitto mud grapplers. Both are of equal condition over 90% tread I guess. Not sure which are better about 50/50 trail street use.
thanks for the opinions in advance!

Both are good tires, but the rockers are definitely more trail oriented and the Grapplers are more street friendly. If you're running beadlocks, I'd definitely run the rockers.

The Rockers are bad ass, hard core off road tires.
Streetable but a little rough.
The Mud Grapplers are definitely more of a street tire even though are very aggressive.
I have heard the Mud Grapplers are pretty wide for their height and may rub at full steer where other tires may not....
After thinking about it....
My vote is for the Rockers.

Leaning towards the grapplers cause there are 5 of them for the same money as four of the Rockers.

That sounds like the right plan. Nice to have that spare, U just never know.

I think w/your 50/50 plan the Nitos will work for ya

...or you buy them both along with a set of beadlocks, that way you have your "street" tires and your wheeling tires. I'm just saying...

I'd vote Rockers, but then again I'm biased;D

those are sweet and I wish I could get both but don't have the budget. Also the rockers are 15" rim diameter which I have rims for but the grapplers are 17" and I'd have to buy wheels with them. Why can't anything be easy LOL.
