Playground material flooring

I just saw this posted by National Early Bronco Group on Facebook. Looks like a terrific idea. I would still want a liner as my base. But I bet it's a great sound deadener & would be much more comfortable.

The post was by Elite Broncos. A company called Doctor Playground (sounds dirty) installed the flooring.

Thoughts?

I don't know about in a Bronco, but I've designed a lot of playgrounds using that stuff (I'm a landscape architect). On the playground, the material is several inches thick and has the feeling of a stiff mattress once it's installed and fully cured. I'm sure they're using a thinner layer in the Bronco, but the consistency is still going to be incredibly soft. Not sure that I'd want something like that in a vehicle. Especially one that's used to haul parts, tools, and anything and everything from Home Depot where the material can get easily gouged and damaged.

It'd probably be a great material to put down if you were planning on putting down carpet.

It will suck if it is adhered to the floor. My understanding is that that material breaths and water/moisture goes through it. Am I wrong?
