PNW rear quarter guards

My guards will be here today. Im planning on shaping them to a round corner. The people who did this. Did you tack weld them then weld back side and grind then weld front? Or ?????

Are you sure you're not looking at the bc rear 1/4 guards molded around the rear corner? I've seen the pnw's modified with a flat piece welded to em to cover the rear but it was a sharp 90 where the rear was attatched. I was lucky enough to get in on bc's mass buy on the gen 1 guards. I wish I ordered 2 sets.

Looks like you got it figured out. I would assume to make the large radius, a filler piece of metal was needed. Do you have a picture of it just tacked up?
