• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

  • The Classifieds forum is a place to buy and sell, not an open forum for people to give their opinions on Bronco values. Unless the seller specifically asks for help on pricing, please don't critique quality or asking price. If you're not interested then move on.

I bought this a few years ago for a 1972 restoration. I ended up going with a different roll bar. I can't be 100% that this is a Stroppe bar, but it looks exactly like one. I painted it with Rustoleum, and it's gotten kind of scratched up since then. It needs new paint or maybe powder coating.

I CANNOT ship this. I am located in the Town of Huntington, on Long Island, NY. If you can come pick this up, it's yours.

Email me at nybronco72@yahoo.com for photos.

Hey Marco! Thanks for the endorsement. I appreciate it. I pop on this site from time to time to check out the old girl. As much as I sometimes wish I hadn't sold, I am very glad you're enjoying her. I love the upgrades you've done. One of these days, if you're heading out east, shoot me an email and we can meet up.

Did you know that Northport has something they call "Family Day" every Tuesday in August? They close down Main Street and turn it into a kind of street fair. People from all over the island bring their classic cars and park them along the street. It's a good time. You should bring the Bronco. I've yet to see one at a Family Tuesday. Yours could be the first.

I only put it up on Craigslist about a week ago; maybe two. I did post it once about two years ago, and nobody contacted me.

I brought it to a FedEx store the other day to see about shipping costs to the Boston area for one guy who was interested, and they said it had to go freight. They wouldn't take it. My local UPS store said they'd ship it regular ground for $150 plus about $80 in packaging costs. That price was based on dimensions. Neither place could weigh it to give me an accurate cost to ship it freight, but the UPS guy said it would be more.

I decided that the shipping cost and hassle, for a $100 roll bar, was too much if I could find a local buyer. As of now, I have three local people interested, so I guess posting it here made more sense than posting on CL.

I had one shipped from Colorado to Washington. I'll be able to get the info on my fed-ex account in the morning. I set it up for them to pick it up and label it for shipping. It was around 100.00. If I set up and pay the shipping would you be interested?
