My tank reads 1/8 of a tank lower than what's in there. Is it possible to make the adjustment at the instrument cluster or do I have to go messing with the float. I've got a 23gal tank. Thanks.

There are 2 adjustment slots on the back side of the fuel gage after you remove it from the cluster. The slots are underneath the paper insulator trip between the positive and guage wires.

You should adjust low fuel when you are out of gas, and the full mark when you gas up.

Also could need a new voltage regulator on back of the speedo cluster

If it were the voltage regulator, wouldn't that affect the rest of the instruments? They're reading fine.
