I am looking to set up power steering and was wondering if I would be better of at the junkyad or just buying a brand new kit. I like the reliablity of new but the price I dont like so much. I want to run the singaw so I can later run hydro assit. Where can I find the pump with the resivor already attached, not looking for hydroboost pump? Where can I find a good power box that wont require to much motfication when mounting? Thanks.

I went the Pathfinder route , used box and coupler $100 , joints and hoses $75 , fabbed my own steering arm from Nissan/Ford pieces and used a rebuilt Ford pump . So far no problems although a cooler is next . I don't think you will find too many used EB PS parts in the wrecking yards but some of our guys may have something .

The 78-79 4x4x2 box (4 truns lock-to-lock) is easy to convert, easy to mount, cheap, and uses your stock pitman arm. After that, all you need is hoses and a way to mount a Saginaw pump on your engine.

IMHO, the second best box to use is the Nissan one mentioned above.

I just went to my local pick-n-pull junkyard today and came home with 4x4x2 box out of a 79 Bronco for $37. ;D I also found a P/S inline cooler for an extra $5. Now I just have to install it. This route may be a little more work, but a lot cheaper and you end up with a much stronger P/S system.
