Sounds like a deal to me if you're on a tight budget. Just remember, as you said you get what you pay for with shocks. These pro-comps might wear out a little faster, meaning you would have to replace them sooner, but if you are taking your rig offroad alot, you'll be going through shocks a bit more often.

Worst purchase I ever made was a set of Pro Comp shox...so still the body seams started to separate on my rig..never again.

I know that their suspensions systems suck too. Two of my friends who had them on their trucks, took them off because of all the problems they had and upgraded to better stuff. Pro-Comp seems to have always produced below-par products in my opinion.

I have been looking into and comparing the Duffs and WH lifts, and they both seem to be pretty reliable and liked by the guys on this forum. I am going to stick with the WH lift, but just by personal preference. Good luck on your decision.

While I'm to 100% sure about this I believe wildhorses shocks are actually pro comps once again not 100% sure but I have a set of WH shocks and the word EXPLORER is embossed in the shock body which I believe the pro comps also have. As far as ride goes mine are great way better than the hecklethorn shocks that I had. I'm sure there may be better shocks out there but price wise these have been good shocks for me no problems yet.
