I'm getting ready to buy a new radiator for the 'ol EB. I thought maybe others ar also thinking the same thing. I've never done a mass buy before so I thought I'd just ask here and see what the interest is. I was thinking of BC Broncos triple pass radiator http://bcbroncos.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=27_23_43&products_id=45

Not sure if Chuck @ BC would be inerested in a mass buy or not. Maybe if we get enough interest from people here.

I think there are several good radiators out there now, Duff's, Tom's, BC's. I'm definatly in the market as well and would buy who ever does the buy.

Me too. I need a radiator for a 5.0 EFI. As long as it is a good quality radiator, I'm in for one.

I've been tossed up between the Ron Francis aluminum and Chucks triple pass. I guess whoever offers a mass buy might help me make that decision.

Here are the guidelines that I was thinking about for the mass buy -

1. Will the radiator fit in my stock location or will I have to modify something
2. Does the vendor have a knowledge of the EB and what it takes to keep them cool?
3. Will the vendor stand behind the product and resolve any issues that might come up.
4. Price.

I'm sure other vendors match these guidelines but for me BC was the vendor I came up with. So here are my answers to the each of those questions -

BC's price is right ~$350 (regular price listed on his website, mass buy pricing will not be listed in this post per Classicbroncs.com mass buy guidelines). I've dealt with Chuck many times in the past 4 years and he's always given me the straight scoop wheather it resulted in a sale for him or not. I'm pretty sure he used his own radiator in his Baja racer (I'd say cooling is pretty important out during the Baja race ;D ). I know he has a real good handle on what it takes to cool an EB in some pretty extreme conditions. The triple pass radiator is a bolt on replacement for your stock radiator.

I just put a call into them to ask about the possiblity of a mass buy. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks for the interest.

Well, I spoke with Debbie @ BC and it seems that they can't do a mass buy because it would be difficult to fulfill. Their radiators require a usable stock radiator core to build a new radiator. So...since I know I have a good core I guess I'll be sending them my core to be rebuilt into the radiator I linked earlier. Sorry to get everybody's hopes up. If someone else would like to take this over with another vendor please do so, it looks like there is plenty of interest.

I just installed Tom's Alluminum Radiator. It was a real easy swap, fits right into the stock brackets, and cools very well. The only thing I wish they would do is include the 4 little (prob cost 50 cents) that hold the shroud to the radiator. Luckilly I had 4 screws that worked in my toll box.
