I’ve been looking and reading about what radiator to go with and haven’t really come to a solid conclusion. I have a 302 with an explorer front dress. I like the wild horses aluminum fan shroud, but what fan and fan clutch should I run along with what radiator?

I have the Ron Davis radiator WH sells along with the aluminum shroud and I use the stock explorer clutch and fan. Works fantastic for me.

Factory Explorer Fan and fan clutch, if the clutch is not leaking oil and still has drag, then you can probably still use it. Moves a lot of air!

I use the WH's aluminum shroud with my conversions, if you have a 1" body lift, fitment can be an issue whether you use the stock one or the one for 2" lift.

If you have the Explorer metal fan, check that all the rivets are still tight. It is the best choice. If you have a plastic fan, look at it closely for stress cracks in the plastic. (Happened back in the day on Fox Body mustangs and can be destructive if it lets go.) Ford still had replacement plastic fans available a year ago.

Radiator, I use a Factory 3 core, stock set up with stock inlet/outlet ports and the WH's lower tube with the factory lower hose cut in half. There are option for the upper hose.

There are a few options for aftermarket Rads that others will have to chime in on.
