Does anyone use the weatherstripping that goes between the body quarter panels and the hardtop under the rampage aluminum rails? Or do you bolt the aluminum rails straight ontop of the sheet metal?

I used a foam weatherstrip that was only had adhesive on one side put it on the channel so if i took them off there was nothing on the body
