• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

They were $50 I believe when casted, that's a hell of a markup!

Broncos originally sold for $2750 too. So what's your point? That's what the market is bringing currently.

You talk a lot of noise for someone who doesn't like people pissing in his cheerios....

Apologies t the OP.

Yes don't we all wish we could go back in time and buy a few more bronco when they were affordable. I wish I had bought a badge or two when they were 50$ too oh well time marches on!

Gents,
I was simply stating that it was a hell of a markup. Nothing negative at all and I hope he gets asking price. Apples to apples it's not a 50 year old vehicle and they were pressed a year or two ago and they can be made again! Was the mold destroyed? Jeez!

Actually the only person who could do these again is Bouree. It is his artwork and he paid for the mold to be made. So this image and the rights to it is his. He has stated that these were going to be a limited run so they won't be done again. The molds are destroyed after a short time of the run. I do a lot of coins and badges for events.

Oh so saying "hell of a mark up" isn't negative? Ha yeah right.

I bought the badge and was happy to pay for it. I have been looking for one of these and was glad that Derik offered it up. Derik is a very responsive guy, by the way. Great to deal with. I see things for sale on this forum and in other places that don't strike my fancy for one reason or another. Sometimes the reason is price. But the marketplace will ultimately decide if the price is too high and the tire kickers will always be there to throw in their opinions! That's okay too. I am just happy there is a place I can go to when I need something for my Broncos. Hopefully, I will never need something serious enough for Paul to chime in. That guy knows everything and needs to write a book for the next generation of vintage Bronco owners!!!!
