Anyone modify/add a bar across the rear of a "standard" rear roll bar to acomodate 3 pt belts? Really don't want to change my roll bar out, so trying to see if anyone has done anything like this

I haven't done it but I'm planning on using a stock rear seat, and use the stock lap belts, simply cuz the holes are already there and I have enuff holes in my rig right now. lol.I did put 3 pt belts in the front tho, worked out great, just like a new car.

I installed four point Crowe belts in mine by adding a removable cross bar behind the rear seat for the shoulder harnesses to attach to. Kept the kiddos strapped down nicely.

Do you have a picture? Sounds like what I am considering but curious about your roll bar set up

Here are some pics of my removable bar. The ends were fabricated from 1.5 inch tubing, urethane bushings, metal sleeves, and fab tabs. The seat is from a J##p that i found at a garage sale for $50, and fabricated a fold and tumble base for it!

Sorry for the rotated pics... iPhones make me crazy, and Bill Gates was not answering his phone!

You'll get the picture :)

That is a cool idea. Only problem is mine is more of the factory style bar, so the bar doesn't go far enough back to be behind the seats.
