rear axle leaking again!

Used rtv on first seal and installed 2nd seal on top of that one.added a tube
Of additive to the gear oil drove around for a couple of hours.
No leak no more binding (so far) don't know what worked , don't really care
Thanks for all the input guys.

Was there enough room to get the second seal all the way in?
