Rear bumper mount replacement

When comparing the replacement part to the original frame section, there is a suttle drop from the last body mout to the bumper mounting. In the picture, I used a level across the last body mount and the bumper mount is a little lower. Using the repair parts, is there any reason I would not be able to be level from the body mout to the bumper mount? I dont think it would, but really wanted to understand from those that have done this before.

It's yours, and a tiny change in rear bumper position probably won't be noticeable.

BTW
The common name is "frame horn" because it's an extension off the end of the frame, but still integral to the frame. A "bumper mount" would be a separate bolt-on part between the frame & bumper, which eBs don't use.

Lay a square across the flat of the body mount and at the very end of the frame horn will be 3/16 lower .

From the back of the frame to the center of the body mount is 5 1/2" .

Thanks All! apprecaite the informaiton. I was able to get the rears taken care of nad that 5 1/2" measurement was helpful. Turned out nice and test fit the stock bumper all aligned great. Appreicate!

Any suggestion on the fronts? They both are in worse shape. Are there any suggestions related to having to deal with the possibility of removing the front body brackets? I was considering using some pilot holes drilled thru the brackets and frame to ensure getting back on track along with the pre-measurents.

Study the frame diagram I posted before. It's also linked in the caption of that photo above in this post.
