Bought this heater box from Steve in Montana for a long gone project. (Found a complete box shortly after)
Finally decided to rebuild it.
Steel pieces were blasted and then powder coated, yes there was a little pitting of the metal.
Box itself is in good shape, there are a few little cracks, pictures included.
Fresh rebuild foam kit installed, New Tom's Brass heater core, new resister, has retaining clip inside on heater core.
Stock motor I had, it has been cleaned up and painted (1969 build date)
Stock squirrel cage soaked in Evap-o-rust, then painted high temp silver.
Stainless hardware used in reassembly
Retaining clips for cables are there, it is ready to be bolted in.
Maybe the wrong time of the season to post this, but I'm ready to move it along...
