Yes, we know that all too well. That's why we have enjoyed the growth we have in 2024. The product fits and sounds great. We designed this system originally for a shop that specialized in Broncos (we also wired many of their Bronco builds so we are not just audio guys). It started with one Bronco. The couple that owned it wanted something more than the dual voice coil in the dash but they didn't want speakers visible in the upholstery or mounted to the roll cage. We were building shallow kick panels for Ford pickups so we came up with this solution for them and the rest is history. Since the front speaker is a high-end speaker with integrated tweeter, its a true 2-way that is bi-amped (2 channels for the woofer and 2-channels for the tweeter), so we were able to get plenty of volume without rear speakers, then the small powered sub filled in the low frequencies perfectly. We have designed some custom systems with rear speakers for a few customers as well which had led us to develop rear quarter inserts that will have rear speakers as well; these will be out Q1 2025. We hope to show them at the Bronco Super Celebration in April.
