recommendation for a mechanic in the bay area (preferably east bay)

I picked up my '74 bronco about 6 weeks ago, and broke my arm a few weeks later out doing some water sports...I've now got a nice titanium plate in my arm, and the inability to do much of anything to my new truck.

I know there are some things I'll need to do in the next few months, like putting in a new suspension, that I'll plan to do after my arm is healed up, but I'd like to have a mechanic give the truck a good "once over" to identify anything that needs to be done immediately. Somebody recommended a poster in Petaluma, but I PM'd him w/o response (and truthfully Petaluma is likely too far as I don't know how comfortable I am taking it out on the highway right now).

Does anybody have a recommendation for someone who knows Broncos, preferably close to the Walnut Creek area? I certainly appreciate it.

Andrew of bajabronco.com is in Petaluma. I know he's been pretty booked up so you'd probably be healed before he got a chance to work on your Bronco.
Any7 Offroad is in San Leandro. They get good reviews but I don't know if they have a certified mechanic on staff. They sell parts and do good fabwork, however.
Arabia's is in San Jose but I think they're Jeep focused. Also I heard they're expensive.

Great, thank you. I'll look into Any7, may just end up going with a good local mechanic. My long time mechanic just sold his business a few months ago, so I don't really have a go to guy right now.

tg, I would highly recomend Miranda's auto electric repair,510-732-0945. He is in hayward by the airport. He got my 74 up and running for me, Iam totally happy with all the work he did for me.
