Hey everyone,
I started on removing D30 on my 68 to put in D44. I'm stuck on taking the drag link off the tie rod. I thought I can just pull the drag link end off but I can't. I also tried prying but it's on there good. Is there a special tool I need? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Eugene

I was able to unscrew the nut, invert it, screw it back on flush with the rod end, and use a BFH to hit the stud and knock it out

Take a BFH and hit the knuckle real hard and it will fall right out. 1 hit to the knuckle will do more than 10 hits to the tie rod!
