Repairing body mount damage question

I have 2 or 3 body mounts where the holes that the soft part of the body mount goes is rusted out and now oblong and thin. How should I go about fixing this? It is the 2 rear mounts and the right front one. Can you simply lay a real big washer with the correct size hole over it and weld it down or should I cut the top of the frame out and put in a whole new piece? I am thinking that the washer idea would be the easiest route and I don't think the 1/8th inch thickness of the washer is a big deal. Am I wrong? I'm sure others have had this same issue so just looking for some feedback. Thanks guys.

I just put washers on top and welded it up good. I did put washers on each body mount location, though - just to make everything even. Now when everything is done, I will have a 2 1/8" body lift! ;D I put the washers on the lathe to get the inside diameter the correct size.

Wouldn't hurt to weld washers to both top and bottom
