OK... why in the world wouldn't a brand spankin new dash pad from JBG not fit a stock dash? It seems about 1/2" too narrow...

Curious if there are others out there that experienced the same thing AND if you all have any suggestions on making it fit or another direction to try...%)

It would be worth it to complain to JBG - if nothing else it might save someone else the same trouble you're having.

I'm sure it's not JBGs problem... but it would seem to me that the dash should be dead-on-balls as far as the mold is concerned.

Could this be a case of material dimensional integrity as far as the construction technique? I bought this dash pad last year (so I doubt it would be covered by JBG anyway) and it's been in my garage the whole time standing on one end...

Just seems odd to me.

All of these large words confuse me - I'm from White Rock, NM! LOL. You think maybe it shrunk? If you feel like experimenting, maybe we could heat it up with some blow dryers and try to stretch it on my hi-lift (or something like that). Give me a call - I'm home all day!

My $.02, but if Nick had the same problem (notches don't line up) then JBG should know that the product they're selling doesn't fit. Not to villify JBG, but more to provide feedback. Maybe, too, they'll have an idea for a fix.

Just installed a dash pad last weekend and had similar fitment issues. After cooling off from being riled, I borrowed my wifes hair dryer and warmed it up starting from the center and attached it from the center out. Some of the predrilled holes didn't even line up with the existing screw holes but I eventually got it on and it really looks nice. I just hope it doesn't rip when it shrinks to its original shape and restretches at the attachment points. The ends lined up much better after using the hair dryer to warm them up. Good luck.
