I am replacing both my front axle shafts soon on my 1975. they are both broken. I figure I would do the ball joints since they are showing signs of wear. I need help in putting together a parts list. What I have so far is the axle shaft set from Jeff's
http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/i-12190-dana-44-heavy-duty-axle-set.html

The ball joints from NAPA and tools from NAPA. I still need to get the figure out which seals to get. I was hoping someone could give me a list of seals needed for the work and any other part that I could be forgetting. Thanks for the help.

I think I figured out the inner seals for the diff. I do have a question about the extreme bushings from Wild Horses. My question would be are they any good?

I put those green things in to replace the spindle bearings. Went in nice and I like the idea of it not letting dirt in. Seemed easy enough, I was sold.

Yeah I realize the diff needs to come out to replace the seals. I figure if I can rebuild a jet engine I can pull out a diff...I just wanted some help with making sure I had all the correct parts.

youll need a cover gasket......really aint much in there.....and if ya goin that far might as well get out the pressure washer and flush the tubes they fulla dirt.....In other words call it a rebuild.

Cancel that your not pulling the pinion wouldnt wash it with it in there, but if you really want it cleaned up thats just a lil work and a seal

I just had my ball joints replaced. If you aren't set on NAPA, I'd recommend the OEM dana/spicer ones. They are a really good price, almost half of the NAPA premium. And from what I read and was told, the cheapy NAPA ones aren't very good.

Cool I will go with the spicer ball joints. I am worried about the extreme bushing from wild horses. Do they replace the seal and bearing for the seal altogether?

Good point fireball NAPA also stick up into the knuckles farther than others and you get to grind for u joint clearance
