Spoke to a local restoration shop today. Looking at the pictures, they would take body apart, restore everything needed, seal, repaint/clear coats and reassemble which will run around $30k plus or minus. Never having done this before, am I being sold a bill of goods or is this the norm? Thanks in advance.

I was advised by top painter in Scottsdale, unless you plan to make it concourse, and go for Barrett Jackson pricing, leave as much original paint and body as possible. If not, as in not going to spend $30,000, then a $10,000 paint and body job is all you need to enjoy.

From this to this I am getting close to 50k. Top shelf shop, top quality paint. We figured about 35ish before we started, IMG_2305.jpeg IMG_2304.jpeg IMG_2302.jpeg IMG_1085.jpeg IMG_1083.jpeg IMG_4679.jpeg

Makes sense. Thank you.
