As far as I know it's only open to dirt bikes and quads. My boys have been there and said it was lame. Just some dirt roads and a few easy trails here and there.

How long ago was that? Their site has some pics of trucks on rocks.

That was last summer. They had an open house of sorts and the Can Am dealer Bernie works for took some of it's latest quads to show them off. It's been open for 2 or 3 years. We've heard they were to open it up to 4x4's, but unless some different parts were developed the boys couldn't figure out where. The few quad trails they rode were narrow. It's only 45 min from us, have to ask some guys that live near there what's going on.

One of my friends is the 4wd admin. There is a bunch of mild stuff and the hardcore is supposed to be very hard from what I saw in pics a while ago. Look on pirate for "rock Run" and you should get some hits.... I have heard it was worth the trip.

Rock Run needs to get the word out. There hasn't been on any local news or haven't posted ads that they are opening it up further. I work with 2 guys that live in the Patton area and ride their quads there. They haven't heard anything about this. Hope it pans out. I can be there in less than an hour.

In the Pa Auto Connection paper there is a section with schedules for automotive events and I saw Rock Run had a listing for a trail ride in April. Go to their website www.rockrunrecreation.com and click on 4x4 and you'll see they have 1 scheduled trail ride each month. Haven't been there, but I'm planning to check it out.
